NQT Privacy Policy

The primary purpose of collecting data is to ensure that we can inform the Teacher Regulation Agency of your progress towards passing your induction year. We also use the details to ensure that your contract meets the requirements of the Statutory Guidance for NQTs. Twice a year anonymised data is collated and shared with a panel of experienced Induction Tutors. This allows the council to monitor trends in the workforce. This includes contract type, proportion of NQTs on track to pass induction, training institution and training route. 3 Who will the data be shared with? The only data that is shared beyond the NQT team within School Effectiveness is your start date, finish date, Teacher Reference number and date of birth. This is necessary to update your records on the TRA’s database. If you move school and register for induction, we are obliged to share any completed assessments with the school and they Appropriate Body that they use for NQT Induction.
